102 Year Old Vegan Surgeon – Why He’s Been A Vegan
A heart surgeon retired at 95, now a 102-year-old vegan

He is a 102-year-old vegan. Through his profession, he had insights and experiences with sick people.
He knows that the diet of most American people is not healthy, and most do not eat enough fruits and vegetables. Too much processed food and a stressful life can bring heart disease.
He can give us good advice on what the best food is for better health.
We are what we eat. This shows here again to be true.
102-Year-Old Vegan Surgeon – Why He’s Been A Vegan
From Plato and Nietzsche all the way to pop icons like Paul McCartney and Bob Marley, to political leaders like Gandhi and Benjamin Franklin, have all advocated a vegetarian diet.
“Veganism is a very fine form of nutrition. It’s a little extreme to tell a person who is using flesh foods that you’re going to take everything entirely away from them. When I was in practice as a physician, I would advise patients that a vegetable-based diet was the healthier option and to limit their consumption of animal products as much as possible. People are very sensitive about what they eat. You can discuss exercising relaxation and maintaining a good mental attitude with people, and they will likely accept that. However, you should discuss their diet with them, and people are very sensitive about that. If an individual is willing to listen, I will try to explain to them on a scientific basis how I think it’s better for them.” – Dr. Ellsworth Wareham
